How do I get a quote for my group?

If you're looking to get a quote for your group, you can either go to the event page you’re interested in, click “Start Booking”, and enter your group’s headcount to generate a quote. Or you can simply reach out to a customer advisor here, and we will happily provide you a detailed quote.

What is a "skills” event, and why is the cost different?

A "skills" event is designed to not just entertain but also educate and enhance a particular skill or talent among participants. The three skills events we currently offer are Virtual Paint Night, Virtual Magic Show, Virtual Charcuterie, and all provide a hands-on experience, guided by experts in the field.

The cost of these events is different because they involve expert professionals, or include kits that are mailed to participants ahead of time. The following is a list of how much these events cost:

  • Virtual Paint Night: $80 per ticket (includes paint kit)
  • Virtual Magic Show: $55 per ticket
  • Virtual Charcuterie: $55 per ticket
What is the monthly and quarterly subscription plan?

Our Monthly Subscription Plan offers a recurring monthly team building event that is perfect for teams who want to ensure consistent bonding and engagement.

Our Quarterly Subscription Plan is designed for teams that prefer a quarterly cadence. This plan offers a team building event every three months, aligning with different business cycles.

Do you offer discounts for large groups?

Yes, we absolutely offer special discounts for larger groups. We understand that organizing events for a big team can be a significant investment, and we're here to support you. If you're planning an event for a sizable group, just reach out to us here, and we'll provide you with a detailed quote tailored to your group size and needs.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or others, we're ready for it. You prefer to do a bank transfer? Not a problem, we can accommodate that too. Whatever works best for you, we're here to make the process as smooth and convenient as possible.

When is payment due?

If you choose to book online, payment is due immediately upon booking. If we send you an invoice, we kindly ask that you settle it within 2 days. Please note that all events must be fully paid for prior to participation.

I've read enough and I'm psyched to do this! How do I book an event?

We're thrilled to hear that! Booking an event is super easy. Here's how you get started:

  • Click on the "Start Booking" button on our website.
  • Fill out the contact form with details about your team and the event you're interested in.
  • Submit the contact form and one of our friendly customer advisors will reach out to you to finalize the details and schedule the event.

Alternatively, if you're all set on a specific event and want to secure your booking immediately, just head over to the event page you’re interested in and click the "Purchase Online" button. It's that simple!

How much ahead of time do I need to book an event?

We generally recommend booking your event about 2 weeks in advance of your desired date. This gives us the best chance of ensuring that our schedule has enough openings for you to choose from. However, the actual lead time can vary based on our availability, so no matter how far away or close you are to the event, just reach out and ask us!

For Virtual Paint Night we more strongly prefer a 2-week lead time. This is to make sure that everybody receives the paint kits by mail in time for the event. But if you’re within 2 weeks of the event, we can roll up our sleeves and find a way to make it work. 💪

Where do I find your event availability?

The best way to get the most up-to-date information on available dates and times is to simply reach out and ask us here. A customer advisor would be more than happy to check our calendar and make sure you get the perfect schedule.

Can I book an event if I don't have an exact headcount?

Yes! If you’re unsure about the exact headcount, that’s not an issue. You can book an event even if you are still finalizing the number of participants. We recommend you book for the minimum number of participants you expect. We allow for the addition of more people to your booking all the way up to the day of the event. So, if more team members decide to join in on the fun, we've got you covered. Just give us a heads up, and we'll make sure everyone gets in.

Are there any pre-event materials or instructions sent out?

Our events are designed to be super intuitive, so there's no need for pre-event instructions. However, we do take care of a few things to ensure everything runs smoothly:

  • Virtual Conference Call Info: Ahead of the event, we'll provide you with the virtual conference call details so you can add it to your calendar and make sure everybody knows where to go.
  • Virtual Paint Night Kits: If you're participating in our Virtual Paint Night, we'll collect mailing addresses before the event to ensure that all the paint kits are shipped out correctly and reach participants in time.
What are your standard event times? Can I book outside these times?

Our standard event start times are at 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, and 6pm PST (please note that these times are all in Pacific Standard Time).

Now, if you're thinking, "None of these times quite fit my team's schedule," don't worry we have you covered too! We understand that every team marches to its own rhythm and beat. If you'd like a customized start time outside of our standard slots, we're more than happy to make that happen. We will apply a small custom start time fee of $195 to the event.

How do you handle teams spread across multiple time zones?

We love teams that are spread out all over the world! If our standard event start times don't quite fit the bill for your widespread team, we can always schedule a custom start time to suit everyone's needs.

If your team's time zones are so diverse that you can’t actually pin down a single time that works for everyone, then we would recommend scheduling separate events with different start times. This makes sure that everyone gets to participate and nobody’s left out. The best part is that even if your team members are playing at different times, we can still announce collective winners across all the games. It keeps the competitive spirit high and ensures everyone feels connected, no matter where they are in the world. 😊 🌏

I'm trying to book online but I don't see my preferred day and time available. What should I do?

If you’re having trouble finding your preferred day and time online, just reach out and we will help. Our online booking system only displays a portion of the total available times. So if you can't see your desired slot, don't hesitate to reach out to us directly here. We'll work to get you in.

What if I want to cancel or reschedule an event I've already booked?

At Ryptic, we understand that plans can change. For all our virtual events, with the exception of Virtual Paint Night, we offer a flexible cancellation and reschedule policy. Here's how it breaks down based on the amount of notice you provide us prior to the event date:

  • If you give us 5 or more days' notice, you'll receive a full refund minus a non-refundable 6% booking fee.
  • With 3 or more days notice, you're eligible for full store credit, including the booking fee. Plus, you can reschedule your event for free.
  • If you let us know more than 24 hours in advance, you'll get 50% store credit.
  • If less than 24 hours notice, we’re afraid there won't be any refund or store credit available.

Please note that for events which include shipped materials like Virtual Paint Night, refunds are not available due to the shipped materials.
